You are beautiful. You don’t think you are because you’re comparing yourself to all these supermodels in magazines and on TV. Guess what, they don’t even look like that in real life. You’re as cute as can be, go out and live your life and stop worrying about your thighs. You’re adorable.

Hurt people hurt people. Just because you’re kind doesn’t mean the rest of the world will match you. A lesson to learn: Be open, but know when to have a firm boundary, and know when to shut a door.
Travel. Travel because you like adventure and the unknown and because it gives you an excuse to question everything you know, to be a child again: curious and exploring things and seeing things for the first time with wonder. And the more you do this the more you’ll find yourself.
So something you’re good at that and you also love. This is an important lesson because if you want to age well, you’ve got to be passionate about what you spend your days doing.
Remember your life mantra: that there’s so much goodness in Life. This will come in real handy when things get gnarly. And they will! But also remember your track record for surviving crises is 100% so chin up, you got this.
You’re going to have the opportunity to buy stock in the IPO round of a company called Facebook and the guy you’re dating is going to talk you out of it. Don’t listen.

If you really want to improve your skincare, read the ingredient labels and figure out which brands are good for your skin and which ones are filled with chemicals that that are going to give you migraines and mess with your hormones.
Stop trying to be skinny and get into the habit of lifting heavy weights so when you get older you have a greater lean mass and your metabolism is high and you don’t have to worry about osteoporosis in your golden years.
Learn how to cook! Master this and you set you up for decades of healthy eating and good nutrition that’ll matter so much when you’re older.
Your body can do just about anything you ask of it until you’re around 30. So go run your marathons, your hood-to-coast all nighter runs : get all your extreme sports out-of-the-way while you still have ample cartilage and cushy joints.
You’re gonna have so many relationships in this life; people are gonna come and go and stay and leave. But the most significant relationship you have is the one you have with yourself. Let go of preconceived, notions, of ideals, perfectionism, and just fall in love. You’re amazing. I know you don’t see it now, but you really are.
